Nestled amidst functional tea estate in the outskirts of Dibrugarh, Assam stands Mancotta Chang Bungalow, a heritage property built 162 years ago during the British Raj in India. The renovated bungalow was once the retreat for British Army officers who established their tea plantations in the 19th century and wanted to reside in the peaceful environs of the estate itself. As you enter the bungalow, the aura and ambiance reminds you of the bygone era of the British who had tastefully designed the  cottage with polished wooden flooring and spacious rooms that have king size beds, en-suite bathrooms and a dressing room. The living area has a fireplace with comfortable sofas to relax and enjoy your evening drinks or a morning cup of coffee with your family and friends. The lush green well manicured lawns of the bungalow invite you unwind yourself in the natural surroundings of this beautiful estate which offers magnificent views of tea plantations from its periphery. Food served at the cottage is of exceptional quality and the multi-cuisine menu is bound to tickle your taste buds. Traditional Assamese delicacies are highly recommended. Guests are entertained every evening with traditional Assamese folk dance performances by local dancers at the grounds of the bungalow who mesmerize the audience with their electrifying dance moves.
