This week long festival of classical dances from different regions of India is held every year in February – March. The dances are performed in an open air auditorium in the western group of temples, mainly at the chitragupta temple (dedicated to the sun God) and the Vishwanatha Temple ( dedicated to the Lord Shiva). Along with renowned performers, a number of craftsmen display their crafts for sale to the visitors. This cultural event is a celebration of Indian art, dance and music handling down from generations. The best classical dancers in the India come here to perform dances like Kathak, Odissi, Mannipuri, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi amongst others.
